The City of Florence is gearing up to celebrate 125 year anniversary. A city wide block party is being planned for July 27th from 5:30-9pm in Old Town. According to the City Bay Street from the Siuslaw Bridge to Laurel Street will be closed to create a hub for this celebration. There will be interactive activities set up by local organizations, activities and games for kids, and live music throughout the evening in front of the City’s Bay Street Interpretive Center.
