Faith & Politic In Oregon And Beyond

The Oregon Humanities will offer a free discussion Sunday, July 8th on faith and politics as part of a statewide Conversation Project. “Faith and Politics in Oregon and Beyond” a free conversation with Russ Pierson will be held at 2 o’clock at the Florence United Methodist Church Fellowship Room on Kingwood Street.   Dean at Lane Community College, Pierson earned a doctor of ministry in global leadership from George Fox University, and holds several sustainability-related certifications. Conversation Project is to engage community members in thoughtful, challenging conversations about ideas critical to our daily lives and our state’s future. The Oregon Humanities is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities and a partner of the Oregon Cultural Trust.
