It was a 2 -2 tie that went into extra innings last night when the Eugene Emeralds hosted the Salem-Kaiser Volcanoes when the Volcanoes pulled ahead in the 10th to take a 4 two lead. The Ems tied it again in the bottom of the 10th on a Nelson Velazquez two run homer. The Volcanoes took the lead back in the top of the 11th when the Volcanoes Kyle McPherson singled to the shortstop driving in a run. The Ems tie it back up in the bottom with a couple of hits and then with one man on and no outs Clayton Daniel hits a line drive into center field to score the winning run. Final score after 11…6-5. The Ems and Volcanoes are on the field again this evening at PK Park at 7:05.
