Emeralds Get a Win
The Eugene Emeralds got a little relief on the road last night as the met with the Tri-City Dust Devils at Gesa Stadium in Washington. Eugene got out in front early with a 5 nothing lead into the fifth inning when the dust devils started to claw their way back into the game managing to get 3 runs on the board but the emeralds screwed the lid on tight in the top of the ninth inning adding 2 more runs for a 7-3 victory. The Ems are back at it tonight in Washington for game two of the five game series. Game time is at 7:15.
