Ems Ties Series 1-1
The Eugene Emeralds managed to hold off the Salem Kaiser Volcanoes last night despite the volcanoes getting 10 hits on the evening. The vols could not manage to capitalize on the hits only scoring one run on the evening. The Ems only got 6 hits on the night but managed to get 4 across the plate. Final Score 4-1 ems. They play the final game of the series this evening at PK Park in Eugene at 7:05
Viking Booster Bash
The Siuslaw Viking booster club has announced its annual Vintage Viking Booster Bash Auction and Dinner. The event will be held this year at the Florence event center on August 11th beginning at 5 pm. Tickets are just $40 dollars per person or 320.00 for a table of 8. The theme will be 50’s style dress, Viking attire, or casual.
