Ems Struggle to get Offense
The Eugene Emeralds can’t seem to find the chemistry to get back to back wins on the road. Last night in Vancouver the Ems defense struggled with two errors resulting in runs. A throwing error in both the 3rd and fourth inning resulted in Vancouver runs and a 4-1 lead for the Canadians. The Ems Nelson Velazquez did get a home run in the top of the 6th but in the end the Ems couldn’t put out enough offense to defeat Vancouver. Final score 6-3
Tonight the Emeralds return home for a 5 game stand against Spokane. This evenings game begins at 7:05.
