Ems Tie Series
Over the weekend the Eugene Emeralds were in Everett Washington to take on the Aquasox. After a Thursday evening win the Ems dropped the next two games. It was a 5-2 loss on Friday and the Sox shut out the Ems on Saturday 7-nothing. Last night was a different story as the Emeralds put a dozen hits on the board and managed to drive 7 runs home on the evening while holding the Aquasox to 6 hits and 4 runs. The series is tied 2-2 and the deciding game is this evening at 7:05 in Everett.
Ducks Hold First Scrimmage
Oregon Ducks Head Coach Mario Cristobal said he liked the performances on the field Sunday when the Ducks had their first scrimmage. He says the Ducks are out in front of where they were a year ago and likes the dedication and commitment he is seeing on the field. The Ducks will host their first game on September 1st against Bowling Green.
