OCHS Hires Shelter Manager

The Oregon Coast Humane Society has announced that they have hired a shelter manager.  OCHS Board President Shauna Robbers says they have chosen Maria Lewis from Plano, Texas to handle operations at the facility.  Lewis is en route from Texas and is expected to be at the helm by next week.  The board is moving forward after the resignation of two new board members last month including the quick exit of former Board President Jack Hanigan and the departure of interim executive director Barbara Butzer.  There is still no word on when the board will choose an executive director.
