Ems Drop Another
Game two of the three game series with the Eugene Emeralds and the Hillsboro Hops was last night at PK Park. The Ems fell behind early after a 2 run first inning by the hops. In the fifth the Hops added 3 more runs for a 5-nothing lead. The Ems mounted an attack in the 6th scoring 3 runs but it was all the offense for the Ems on the night. Final score 5-3. The two teams meet again this evening at 7:05.
Ducks Preview New Uniforms
The Oregon Ducks will be sporting newly designed uniforms this season. Nike’s creative director for football Todd Van Horne says the inspiration for the uniforms came from Head Coach Mario Cristobal’s dedication to discipline, strength, and speed. The team will don the uniforms for their first game against Bowling Green on September first.
