Emeralds Drop Another
Another tough loss for the Emeralds last night in Hillsboro. The Ems were trailing the Hops 5 – 2 in the bottom of the 6th inning and fought back in the 8th with two runs scored and continued the comeback in the 9th but fell one run short. The EMS left 5 men on base with 8 hits and one error.
The three game series closes out tonight in Hillsboro between the Em’s and Hops. Tomorrow night the Emeralds return to PK Park for a four games series between Eugene and Tri Cities, it is the final home series of the season.
