Senior volleyball player Alyssa Richards is this week Athlete of the Week. Alyssa had 10 kills on 19 sets and one dig in the Vikings match against Pleasant Hill on Thursday. Honorable mention goes to distance runner Kiger Johnson for leading the Viking Cross Country team at the Saxon Invite on Saturday with a time of 17:24.65
Ems Take 2-0 Lead
The Ems blanked the Indians last night in Eugene to take the series lead 2-0. The Ems scored early with a 3 run first inning and adding another in the 7th for a 4-0 win. The Indians could only manage 4 hits on the night and leaving 6 men on base. Game 3 of the 5 game series is this evening at PK Park at 7:05
