AOTW – Evan Moso
Congratulations go out to Mapleton senior Evan Moso who excelled in Friday’s 8 man football romp over Glendale in their 66-14 win. Moso had 134 yards on just 3 rushes, had 4 touchdowns, 3 rushing and a 92 yard touchdown pass. He also added 3, two point conversions. On defense the ironman had 8 tackles and 1 sack.
Honorable mention goes to freshman runner, Chad Hughes. Chad shaved 16.5 seconds from his previous meet and after finishing 90th during the Saxon Invitational he moved up to 31 for the Northwest Classic with a time of 18:22.2.

Prep volleyball tonight pits Siuslaw against Marist in Eugene. SkyEm matches between the Lady Viks and hosting Spartans is at 6:30.
Mapleton is on the road to Triangle Lake for Mountain West League Volleyball. Matches this evening between the Sailor girls and Lakers are at 6 o’clock.
