Mapleton Falls to Triangle Lake
In prep volleyball Triangle Lake was victorious over Mapleton last night. The Lakers defeated the Sailors in straight sets 25-12, 25-15, and 25-13. Senior Sailor Erin Michael had 14 serves with 4 aces and 2 kills in the losing effort.
Next up for Mapleton the Sailor girls will host the Mohawk Mustangs Thursday evening. Games in Mapleton get underway at 6 o’clock.
Lady Viks Battle Tough Match
On the road in Eugene the Lady Vikings battled back and forth with Marist. After losing the first set 27-25, Siuslaw bounced back with straight wins 25-19 and 25-15. Marist tied it up in the fourth set with a 27-25 win. Marist pulled out the win in a tough back and forth battle with a 15-7 final set.
The Viking girls are on the home court Thursday hosting Marshfield in SkyEm volleyball. Games get underway at 6:30 at Siuslaw Highs School.
