Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulates Mapleton volleyball player, senior Erin Michael as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Over the weekend Erin had two standout matches in Mapleton’s wins over both Pacific and Oak Hill. In the first match against Pacific Erin contributed 7 aces and 8 kills and then in the evening match she served 10 aces with 9 kills.
Honorable mention goes to junior JJ Neece for his standout performance in Mapleton’s defeat of Oak Ridge. Scoring 8 Touchdowns and rushing 484 yards
Prep Volleyball Tonight
In Mountain West League Volleyball this evening Mapleton will be at home against Eddyville Charter, the match begins at 6pm
Sky-Em league play will see the Lady Vikings head to Elmira. That match will begin at 6:30.
