Lady Vikings Victorious

Last night Siuslaw Lady Vikings were pumped and ready for the Elmira Falcons as they celebrated Senior night at Glenn Butler Court.  The Vikings defeated visiting Elmira in 3 straight sets

25-17, 25-14, 25-11.  It was their final home game for the season.  The Vikings are graduating 3 seniors this year Makenzie York, Alyssa Richards and Falon Borgnino.  Junior Aylenne Vazquez is graduating early.  The Vikings are on the road to Coos Bay for an 8 team tournament on Saturday.

Mapleton Takes Down Eddyville

Mapleton Lady Sailors were also victorious.  They were on the road last night against Eddyville Charter.  It took the sailors 4 sets but won the match 25-18, 21-25, 25-14, 25-20.

Prep and Collegiate Schedules

Prep Football tonight has Siuslaw on the road to Pleasant Hills.  This evening’s pregame is at 6:45 on KCST, kick off between the Vikings and hosting Billies will be at 7 o’clock over Coast Radio Sports….

Mapleton will be at home for Mountain West League football against North Douglas.  Eight man football kicks off between the visiting Warriors and the Sailors is at 7 o’clock.

Prep Cross country action on Saturday finds the Vikings competing at the High School / College level Warner Pacific Cross Country Classic.  The high school races will again feature some of the top runners from around the region including Alaska, Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho.  Races get underway at Portland’s Lents Park at 9:30.

Pac Twelve football Saturday has Oergon hosting the Washington Huskies in Eugene.  Pregame on KCST is at 11am, kick off at Autzen Stadium is set for 12:30.  Oregon State has a bye this week.
