Wrestling Mat Club
Parents with children that are interested in wrestling are encouraged to sign them up for the Siuslaw Wrestling Mat Club. The club will begin meeting every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through the Christmas break with the exception of Thanksgiving Day from 5:30 to 6:45pm. Cost for the club is $41 which includes insurance needed to join the club. Wrestling shoes are not required but are suggested. Information is available at usawmembership.com
Ducks/Utes
The Oregon Ducks suffered through some bad calls on Saturday as they struggled to stay close to the Utah Utes. A controversial Utah touchdown in the waning minutes gave the Utes the lead without enough time for the Ducks to mount a comeback. The Ducks fell to the Utes 32-25.
OSU/Stanford
The Oregon State Beavers were tromped by Stanford as the Cardinal exploded for 5 first half touchdowns and added 2 more in the second half. Final Score was 48-17.
Hardwood Results
The Beavers fared much better on the hardwood on Saturday as they visited Wyoming. OSU defeated the cowboys 83-64. The OSU women defeated Cal Poly on Friday 79-54
Friday night the Ducks defeated Eastern Washington 81-47
The lady Ducks defeated Syracuse 75-73 on Saturday.
