High School Basketball
Practice is underway for the Siuslaw Viking basketball teams. The first games are set for the end of the month. The Viking Girls will be coached by a new head coach this year as Chad Smith transitions from boys football to the hardwood. Dylan Perry will once again lead the Viking boys. The first competition will be held on November 28th in Mapleton.
College Hoops
Women’s non conference basketball this morning pits Oregon State against Arkansas Pine Bluff at Gill Coliseum. It’s an early tip off on Ralph Miller court between the visiting Golden Lions and Beavers is at 11 o’clock.
Oregon is in the Beehive State tonight take on the Utah State Aggies in non conference play. Tip off in Logan Utah at Smith Spectrum Arena is set for 6 o’clock.
