Ducks Face Penalties From NCAA

The Oregon Ducks are facing two years probation, for what the NCAA amounts to having more coaches than allowed.  The NCAA ruled that the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball coach, Kelly Graves, failed to monitor and promote an atmosphere of compliance with NCAA regulations.  The probation will run through December 5th 2020 and will include a 2 game suspension for the Ducks head women’s basketball coach this season.  The NCAA also reported that the track and field program also participated in violations when an adjunct instructor changed the grade of a female athlete from an f to a B Minus so she could maintain her eligibility.  The NCAA noted that the violations were self reported by the Oregon Ducks.
