Athlete of the Week: Mia Collins
The Sports Club, The Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Mia Collins as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Mia Scored 15 points and pulled down 6 rebounds in a close game against Cottage Grove on Friday Night.
Honorable Mention goes to Viking Wrestler Elijah LaCosse who took second place in the Sutherlin Wrestling Classic over the weekend.
Prep Schedule
The Vikings take on Marist in a Sky-em League boys and girls basketball double header. Tonight’s pregame is at 5:30on KCST, game one tips off at 5:45, the second game of the night between the Vikings and Spartans is schedule for 7:15 at Marist High School in Eugene.
Mapleton is on the road as well tonight for a Mountain West League match up at Eddyville. The boy’s open the completion at 5:30, the girls game follows at 7 o’clock in Eddyville.
The Siuslaw wrestlers are on the mats this evening for a three way dual meet against Siltez Valley and Toledo. Matches at Siuslaw High School get underway at 6 o’clock.
