Ducks Drop Game in Final Seconds
The Oregon Ducks had a difficult time against the Washington Huskies last night. The Huskies went into half time with a 27-17 lead and continued to rule over the Ducks despite a second half comeback attempt by Oregon. The game was tied with 19.3 seconds left but Payton Pritchard slipped and lost control of the ball and turned it over. Final score 61-56 Washington.
Beavers Beat Cougars
The Oregon State Beavers were at home last night against the Washington State Cougars. Tres Tinkle has 21 points and 4 steals and Ethan Thompson added 20 points and 6 assists in the Beavers 90-77 win over the Cougars.
Weekend College Hoops
Oregon State will host Washington Saturday in Pac Twelve basketball in Corvallis. Pregame on KCFM is t 12:30, tipoff at 1 o’clock. Oregon will take on Washington State Sunday in a game that airs 4:30 on KCST, tip off at 5 o’clock.
Siuslaw vs. Junction City
Sky-Em League basketball tonight has Siuslaw hosting the Junction City Tigers in Florence. Pregame over Coast Radio sports begins at 5:30, tip off between the Vikings and Tigers in game one is at 5:45 on KCST.
Mapleton Vs. Crow
The Mapleton Sailors are on the court in Crow for a Mountain West League boys and girls basketball double header tonight. The boys game opens the nights play as the Sailors tip off against the Cougars at 5:30, the girls game follows at 7 o’clock.
