Siuslaw Wrestlers Get Pin Happy

The Oregon West Conference Duals were at Philomath on Saturday.  Siuslaw junior wrestler Matthew Horillo went 5 and 0 on the day with three pins and two decisions.  Horillo wrestles in the 220 pound weight class.  Sophomore Brady Libby was 3 out of four on the day in the 120 pound category.  Fellow sophomore Hector Garcia was 4 for 5 with one win being a forfeit.  Sophomore Elijah Lacosse was also 4 for 5 on the day in the 132 pound category.  Senior Riley Jennings was 4 for 5 in the 170 pound weight class.

Vikings Continue to Struggle on the Court

It was a close match on Friday night as the Siuslaw Viking Boys basketball team traveled to Cottage Grove.  Cottage Grove held off the Vikings 58-50 for the win.

The Lady Vikings had a much tougher opponent in Cottage grove managing only 31 points to Cottage Grove’s 64.

Beavers Move Past Utah

The Oregon State Beavers defeated the Utah Utes on Saturday 81-72.  They host Stanford on Thursday with the pregame on KCFM at 6:30

Ducks Losing Ground in PAC 12

Colorado defeated the Ducks on Saturday 73-51.  The Ducks host Cal on Wednesday, pregame on KCST at 6 pm.

Lady Ducks Demolish Colorado

The Lady ducks rolled over Colorado in Eugene yesterday afternoon breaking the 100 point mark with a 102-43 shellacking of the Buffalos.

Beavers Pass Utah

The Beaver women defeated the Utah Utes 71-63
