Senior Night at Siuslaw
Last night was senior night at Siuslaw High School. The senior basketball players took the home court one last time against the Elmira Falcons. The lady Vikings celebrated four members; Alyssa Richards, Hailee Edgerly, Lillian Wenham, and Madison Reynolds. The seniors went out with a win against the visiting Falcons, sophomore Lindsey Long led scorers with 15 and Gracie Freudenthal added 13 in the 56-51 win.
The Viking boys celebrated 3 seniors last night Jordan Taniguchi, Dylan Wynn and Nick Swift while being outgunned by Elmira 78-41. Freshman Braydon Thornton put up 18 points for the Vikings in the loss.
Siuslaw will close out the regular season schedule with their final double header on Friday night against the Junction City Tigers.
