Junction City Defeats Siuslaw

Last night in Junction City the Siuslaw Vikings wrapped up their season with a 69-35 loss.  Dylan Wynn finished up his Viking career with 12 points on the night and Braydon Thornton had 8.  The Vikings were 5-19 on the season and 0-10 in league play.

 

The Lady Vikings were slow to start the first half of last night’s game allowing Junction city to double them up on scoring but worked hard defensively in the second half to slow the Tigers run.  The girls made a game of it matching their first half scoring but holding the Tigers to just 13 points.  Lindsey Long led Viking Scorers with 10, Savannah Morris 9 and Gracie Freudenthal ended with 8, 7 of those coming in the second half.  Tigers won 44-32

Baseball Tonight

Collegiate Baseball gets underway this afternoon.  Oregon will be on the diamond against Texas Tech for the first of four games that play out through Monday.

 

Oregon State takes on New Mexico in the Sanderson Ford College Baseball Classic.  The four game tournament includes games against Gonzaga, Minnesota, and New Mexico on  Monday.

Civil War

It Pac Twelve Women’s basketball on the court tonight as the Ducks take on the Beavers in a Civil War game in Eugene at 7:30 on the hardwood of Matthew Knight Arena.

 

The Men’s basketball Civil War game is on Saturday as the Ducks take on the Beavers on Gill Coliseum’s Miller court in Corvallis.  Pregame on both KCST and KCFM is at 7 o’clock, tip off at 7:30.
