Collegiate Baseball action for the Oregon State Beavers are in Surprise Arizona for a four game series against the Nebraska Corn Huskers in non-conference baseball. The series plays out through Sunday.
Collegiate Basketball
Pac Twelve Men’s Basketball this evening pits Oregon against the Trojans of USC. Pregame on KCST is at 5:30, tip off at the Galen Center in Los Angeles will be at 6 O’clock.
Oregon State will take on the Bruins of UCLA tonight at 8 o’clock at Pauley Pavilion. Pregame on KCFM is at 7:30.
Wrestlers On to State
Siuslaw wrestlers will be competing in the two day OSAA State Wrestling Championships at Memorial Stadium beginning tomorrow at 4pm. Coach Neil Wartnik says 4 members of the team have made it to the state level.
“Elijah LaCosse at 126 pounds, Ryan Jennings at 152 pounds, Riley Jennings at 170 pounds and Matthew Horrillo at 220 pounds.
Wartnik says wrestlers will be in front of crowds ranging from 5 to 7 thousand people. He also says that this is the first year that they will not be competing on Friday morning. 4A competitors will start later in the afternoon.
