Wrestlers Fail to Place; Beavers Undefeated in Pre-Season; Duck Win 3 In A Row; Ducks Struggle/Beavers Win; Women’s Basketball

Wrestlers Fail to Place

Sophmore Ryan Jennings went 2 for 2 in the State Wrestling Tournament in Portland over the weekend.  Jennings missed placing in the tournament after a fall to Victor Torres from Madras.  Sophomore Elijah LaCosse and senior Riley Jennings were unable to advance and Matthew Horrillo was 1 for 3 on the day.

Beavers Undefeated in Pre-Season

The Oregon State Beavers Baseball are still undefeated.  The Beavers Swept Nebraska over the weekend.  Saturday’s game the Beavers racked up 17 runs at Surprise Stadium in Arizona.  The Beavers are 8-0 in pre-season.

Duck Win 3 In A Row

The Oregon Ducks were 3-0 against St. Mary’s over the weekend.  Sunday’s game 4 was cancelled due to weather.  The Ducks are 4-2 in pre-season play.

Ducks Struggle/Beavers Win

On the Basketball court the Ducks continue to struggle after being defeated by the UCLA Bruins Saturday 90-83.  The Beavers topped the Trojans in LA 67-62.

Women’s Basketball

Women’s basketball, the Beavers swept the L.A. teams over the weekend, taking down USC on Friday 68-61 and UCLA on Sunday 75-72.

 

The Duck Women were defeated by UCLA on Friday 74-69, but came back against USC on Sunday 96-78.
