Cats Claw Beavers; Ducks Heat Up SunDevils; On the Schedule

With just 24 seconds on the clock the Arizona Wildcats pulled out a win in Corvallis last night.  With one second on the clock the Beavers had a chance but the Beaver’s Justin Thompson came up short.  Final score 74-72.  The Beavers will host the Sun Devils on Sunday in Corvallis, pregame on KCFM is at 4:30.

Ducks Heat Up SunDevils

The ASU Sundevils may have felt the heat last night, but it was coming from the Ducks.  ASU could feel the snow melting as Oregon poured it on.  The Ducks led by 8 in the first half and went on to dominate the SunDevils and never lost the lead.  The Ducks started the second half with a 12-0.  The Ducks outscored ASU 79-51.  The Ducks will host the visiting Arizona Wild Cats on Saturday, Pregame on KCST is at 6:30, tip off is at 7 o’clock in Eugene.

On the Schedule:

Pac Twelve women’s basketball tonight has the Oregon teams in the desert. Oregon State will be in Tempe this evening to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils at 7 o’clock.  Oregon is in Tucson to face the Wild Cats of Arizona at 7 o’clock.  The Women’s teams trade location and opponents on Sunday.


Collegiate Baseball this afternoon pits Oregon State against the visiting West Virginia Mountaineers.  First pitch in Corvallis is at 5:30.  The Series plays out at Goss Stadium through Sunday.


Oregon will host Loyola Marymount for the first of three games.  First Pitch between the Diamond Ducks and the Lions is at 6 o’clock at PK Park Eugene. The three game series plays out through Sunday.
