Lady Ducks Secure PAC 12 Title
The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team finished out the season with three straight wins to take the PAC 12 titile for the second straight year in a row. The Lady Ducks finished the PAC 12 with a 16-2 record and were 19 and 9 overall. Sunday afternoon the Ducks finished off the ASU SunDevils 66-59 to claim the title.
Ducks Finish Arizona
The Duck Men were also on a roll handing the Arizona Wildcat a loss on Saturday, holding the cats to their lowest point total of the season with a 73-47 victory over the UofA. Oregon is 8-8 in the PAC 12 and finish off the regular season with both Washington team this week. Taking on the Cougars on Wednesday and the Huskies on Saturday.
Beavers Lose 2 at Home
The Arizona teams for the men had a better time against the Oregon State Beavers. the ASU SunDevils defeated the Beavers on Sunday 74-71 in a close back and forth matchup. The Beavers are 9-7 in PAC 12 play and also finish up the season with both Washington Teams this week with the Huskies on Wednesday and the Cougars on Saturday.
Beaver Women finish Strong
The Oregon State women defeated the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday to finish the season with a 24-6 record. Mikayla Pivec scored 21 points for the Beavers in their 65-60 win.
Pre Season Baseball
Pre season baseball, the Beaver hosted West Virginia over the weekend taking the first two games, 9-2 and 4-2, but the mountaineers shut out Oregon State on Sunday 2-zip.
The Ducks were also on the mound taking three straight from the visiting Loyola Marymount. 4-3, 6-0, and 7-6.
