Ducks in the Big Dance
The Oregon Ducks have made it to the Big Dance. They will meet Wisconsin for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Ducks went to overtime to defeat the Washington Huskies for the top spot in the PAC 12 giving them the automatic bid. Round one will be this Friday in San Jose California. Wisconsin was 23-10 on the season. Wisconsin is 2-0 facing the Ducks whom they met in the second round of the tournament in 2014 and 2015. The game will begin at 1:30 on Friday. Pregame on KCST is at 1 pm.
Weekend Baseball Results
The Oregon Ducks went 1-2 over the weekend against Washington. The Huskies took the first two games 9-3 and 19-3. Oregon came back on Sunday for a pitching duel and shut out the Huskies 1-0.
The Oregon State Beavers dropped 2 0f 3 over the weekend too. The Beavers were visiting UCLA and were blanked on Friday, losing 8-0. They posted a win on Saturday, 7-3 and then fell behind on Sunday after allowing 5 runs in the first inning. A late rally came up short as the Beavers went down 9-7
