Vikings Get Busted Up By Billies
The first two innings of last night’s matchup between Pleasant Hill and Siuslaw saw each team score one run without a hit. But by the third inning the Billies woke up and started firing on all cylinders with 15 hits over the next three innings and scored 25 runs on the Vikings. The Vikings had 7 errors on the day and did not connect for a base hit. Final 25-1 Pleasant Hill.

The lady Vikings were a little more closely matched with the Billies. The Vikings put up 9 hits and 7 runs and had a 4 nothing lead going into the bottom of the fourth. By the bottom of the 6th the Billies had tied it up 5-5 and the Vikings took the lead back in the top of the 7th scoring 1 run. The Billies came back in the bottom of the 7th with 3 runs defeating the Vikings 8-7.
