Games Moved to This Afternoon
Yesterday’s baseball and softball games versus Douglas had to be postponed due to field conditions. The rain stopped yesterday afternoon but the fields were too wet to play games. The games have been rescheduled for this afternoon at 3 pm, but that may change if the rain continues to fall. Due to the Our Town Program today, the games will not air on KCST.
Sky-EM Meet – Junction City
Yesterday members of the Siuslaw High School Track and field teams participated in the Sky-Em JV Meet in Junction City. Sophomore Gracie Freudenthal placed first in the 200 meters race with a time of 27.99. junior Isaiah Jones place 2nd in the 200 meter with a time of 25.44. Senior Davina Galli placed first in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.47 and took 2nd place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 56.82. sophomore Ryan Jennings took 2nd place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.9 a personal record time for him.
Beavers Beat By Aztecs
San Diego State Dropped the Beavers yesterday in Corvallis. The Beavers held a 3-2 lead until the 5th inning until the Aztecs scored 2 and put them on top 4-2. The two teams play again today at 5:30.
