Lady Vikings Win
It took an extra day to get the game in, but the wait was worth it for the Lady Vikings. On the softball diamond yesterday the Viks dominated Cottage Grove pounding 13 hits over 6 innings and scoring runs in all but one of those. Sophomore Liz Garcia-Galvan was 3-4 from the batter’s box with 2 RBI’s. Freshman Bailey Overton was 2-3 with an RBI, a walk and a stolen base. Nina Aaron threw 6 strike outs with no walks and was 2-2 from the plate with a single and a triple and 2 walks. She faced 22 batters and gave up 3 hits. Final Score was 11- 1 Viks.
The Siuslaw girls will take on the Elmira Falcons in a Skyem League double header in in Elmira. The games that begin at 3 o’clock, we originally scheduled to be played out on Friday.

Mountain West League Track and Field this afternoon has Mapleton’s Sailors on the road to Oakridge.
PAC 12 Baseball
In Pac Twelve Baseball the Oregon State Beavers are on the diamond this evening in Corvallis for the first of three games against the Arizona Wild Cats. First pitch in Corvallis is set for 7 o’clock, pregame on KCFM is set for 6:30. The series plays out through Saturday at Coleman Field.
Oregon host Stanford’s Cardinal this evening in the first of three games at PK Park Eugene, first pitch is at 7 o’clock.
