Viking Baseball; Nevada Takes OSU Again; JV Track and Field

Viking Baseball

Last night the Siuslaw Vikings were in Coos Bay to take on Marshfield.  The Vikings only managed 2 hits on the night with 15 strike-outs.  Marshfield managed 6 runs on 9 hits.  Coach Tom Shinn said the Vikings need to avoid errors and produce runs to win games.  He said one highlight in their 6-0 loss though was a diving catch in left field by Clayton Remilong.

Friday Siuslaw will be hosting Marist.

Viking softball last night, Marshfield defeated Siuslaw 15-5.

Nevada Takes OSU Again

The Beavers went extra innings last night against Nevada.  The wolf pack edged the beavers 7-6.

And Siuslaw finished in the top 3 spots for Javelin with Ryan Rendon-Padilla getting the top spot with a toss of 182-05.  Sophomore Andrea Osbon took first in the shot put and the discus.
