Softball and Baseball Close Out Today
The Siuslaw Vikings close out their softball and baseball seasons this afternoon with double headers in Florence. The Lady Viks will host the Pirate Girls for two softball games at Siuslaw High School. The Boys will host Marshfield for dual baseball games at Jiggs Dodson Field. Pregame for this afternoon’s baseball final is at 2:45 on KCST, both double headers begin with a first pitch at 3 o’clock.
Civil War
Pac Twelve Baseball this afternoon is the open of an Oregon Civil War series between the visiting Beavers and hosting Ducks in Eugene. This evening’s game on KCFM is at 6:30, first pitch at PK Park is at 7 o’clock. Saturday’s airs at 1:30 and the third is Sunday morning at 11:30.
Track and Field District Championships
The Sky-em District 4A track and field Championship meet is set for tomorrow with the Vikings opening competition at 11am in Eugene at Marist High School. While the Sailors will be at the 1A Special District 2 Track and Field Championships will be held in Blue River at the McKenzie Community Track.
