Beavers Pull Out Win

The Oregon State Beavers were at home last night for non conference baseball.  OSU hosted Portland State.  Portland took a 3-1 lead in the top of the third inning.  In the  bottom of the 7th inning with bases loaded r edshirt sophomore George Mendazona smacked a double in deep right center to drive in 3 runs giving the Beavers  a 4-3 lead, which was all they would need to finish off Portland.  Jake Mulholland threw seven pitches to retire the last two Portland batters giving him his 7th save on the season.

Ducks Capitalize on Mistakes

The Oregon Ducks were also at home last night hosting Gonzaga.  It was a mistake filled game for the Bulldogs allowing the Ducks to capitalize on the opportunities.  The Ducks put up 10 runs on 10 hits on the night combined with several critical walks and 2 errors by Gonzaga.  Final score 10-3 for a Ducks win.
