Finalists have been chosen for the Sports Club, Siuslaw News, and Coast Radio Sports Athlete of the Year. Coaches from both Siuslaw and Mapleton schools submitted their picks for the athletes that exhibited exemplary performances over the 2018-2019 school year. 16 athletes will be narrowed down to the top Male and top Female athletes with an awards ceremony on Thursday, June 6th at 6pm at Siuslaw High School. The public, coaches, athletes and their families representing both schools are invited to attend.

The Oregon Ducks will finish out their regular season in baseball beginning tomorrow in Eugene. They will meet for a 3 game series against UCLA that will finish on Saturday. The Oregon State Beavers will also be at home for their final series. They host the USC Trojans beginning tomorrow evening at 6pm, pregame on KCFM is at 5:30. Friday’s game time is also 6pm with a 5:30 pregame. Saturday’s game will be at 12 noon with a KCFM pregame time of 11:30 am.
