Free Fishing Weekend Across Oregon this Saturday and Sunday

Oregon Communities will celebrate free fishing weekend throughout the state Saturday with events including Florence.  The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife allows fishing without a license both Saturday and Sunday, with other angling rules and regulations still applying.  Rules and regulations include bag limit, catch size and closures.  ODFW and volunteer fishing instructors will host an event at Cleawox Lake Saturday from 9 to 2pm with fishing instruction and tips.  Other events in Lane County will take place at Eugene’s Alton Baker Park and at the Oakridge Willamette Hatchery.   Clamming and crabbing will also be free along the Oregon Coast Saturday and Sunday.
