Rannow Makes Senior Cut
Ocean Dunes golf professional Bob Rannow has made the cut on the U.S. Senior open. Rannow will be heading to Indiana June 26th -30th to compete. Rannow says he was motivated after watching his daughter give her best efforts this year.
”Sometimes in golf you enter a tournament, you might not be mentally that confident, at least that’s my scenario, and I see my daughter just really mentally tough, so I kind of thought to myself well maybe I can kick my game up a notch and sure enough it was there.”
Hannah Rannow competes in Cross Country and Track and was this year’s state champion in the 3000 meters.
Northwest League Set to Open
The Eugene Emeralds are ready to take the field again. this Friday the 2019 Northwest Baseball League Short Season begins at PK Park. The Ems will face the Hops for a two game series and then head to Canada on Monday for a four game series against the Canadians.
