Siuslaw High School has chosen its head football coach for the 2019 season. 2014 Siuslaw Graduate Sam Johnson will be heading up the Viking Squad. Johnson played football, baseball and basketball for Siuslaw and has been coaching football as an assistant for the last three years. Johnson will join the math department next year.
Also joining the Viking Coaching staff is 2013 Siuslaw graduate Lona Dengler. Dengler will be assistant coasch for the Viking Volleyball team and will teach physical education at Siuslaw Middle School next year. She played softball and volleyball for the Vikings.
