For the second straight night, the Eugene Emeralds successfully played spoiler against the Hillsboro Hops, clinching a series victory behind a 2-1 win in front of 4,262 fans at PK Park.   The Emeralds entered Thursday’s Grateful Dead Night at PK Park donning tie-dye jerseys while aiming to deal another blow to Hillsboro’s playoff hopes.   Closer Riley McCauley sealed the win in the ninth with a scoreless frame to pick up his fifth save of the season, tying him for the Northwest League lead.
