The Ems were at home against the Boise Hawks and started it off with a run in the first inning and lead the game the rest of the way. A third inning home run by Catcher Caleb Knight continued the Ems dominance of the game as they scored 2 more runs in the third and 2 more in the 4th. Boise answered in the top of the 4th with 2 runs and added a third in the 6th, but the Ems dropped 2 more runs on the Hawks in the bottom of the inning and added one more in the bottom of the 8th.
