Ems at 2 in a Row
The Eugene Emeralds posted another win last night against the Boise Hawks. Once again the Ems bats exploded as they held the Hawks to one run off two hits on the night. 3rd baseman Jake Slaughter went 4 for 4 from the plate with two rbi’s the Ems left 14 runners on base and yet scored 11 runs on the night. Both teams used 5 pitchers on the night. The Ems switched every 2 innings giving their bullpen a workout. Fauris Guerrero gets the win for the EMS. Final score 11-1. The Ems head to Volcano stadium this evening for the first of 3 games with Salem-Kaiser. Tonight’s first pitch is at 6:35
