Quarterback Club Returns
The Viking Quarterback Club is back in action every Friday morning in assembly room A at Siuslaw high school. It’s a chance for passionate football fans to get a look at game footage and get a preview of the upcoming game. The event lasts from 11:24 to 11:54 with raffles included.
Volleyball
The Lady Viks are on the court this afternoon taking on the Billies in Pleasant hill for non league volleyball at 6 o’clock….
Tomorrow evening Mapleton Volleyball will host Pacific and Waldport with competition beginning at 3pm.
Ducks Prepare For Nevada
Will Juwan Johnson and Cam McCormick be ready for this weekend as the Ducks Host Nevada? The Wide receiver and tight end are still questionable for the game, and Head Coach Mario Cristobal isn’t shedding any light on their recovery.
“Are they getting closer they are, they are, am I ready to say they are going to be available this weekend? I can’t say that yet.”
Cristobal said Johnson looked good in practice, but it is tough to tell with the kind of injury whether he is yet fully healed.
