Viking Cross Country Team
The Siuslaw Vikings are on the course at Lane Community College in Eugene this afternoon for the Sky-Em League Cross Country Championships. The women’s 5000 race is at noon, while the men’s race begins at 12:45. Winners advance into the November 9th State Championships.
Lady Ducks Atop AP Poll
The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team enters the season ranked atop the AP poll. They received 25 of 28 first place votes and are coming off their second straight Pac-12 regular season championship. Their first regular season game will be against Northeastern at home on Veteran’s Day, November 11th.
Ducks Ready for USC
Duck Head Coach Mario Cristobal told reporters yesterday that Juwan Johnson is healthy and they look for him to be poised to take a larger roll in Saturday’s game against the USC Trojans. USC is unbeaten at home this season and are 5-3 overall. The Ducks are looking to stop the home streak.
