Sutherlin Defeats Siuslaw
The Siuslaw Vikings finished out their regular season on the road on Friday night against Sutherlin. The Vikings were defeated 56-16. The Vikings will head to Hidden Valley this Friday for a playoff. Hidden Valley is 9-0 on the season. The Vikings finished up 6-3 on the year and 3-2 in league play.
Sailors Lose to Perrydale
The Mapleton sailors also finished with a loss on Friday night. The Sailors faced Perrydale in a non-league crossover tournament game on Friday night. Losing 70-40. The Sailors walk in to the playoffs with an at-large birth this Saturday against Camas Valley. The game will be on Saturday at 1 pm. This is the first time in 17 years that the sailors have made the playoffs.
Ducks Get Into High Gear
The Oregon Ducks started off slow in the first quarter of Saturday’s game, but made up for it in the next 3 quarters. The Ducks were in California to face USC and defeated the Trojans 56-24. Wide Receiver Juwan Johnson had 3 touchdown receptions in the second half for the Ducks.
Beavers Take Down Cats
The Oregon State Beavers defeated the Arizona Wildcats in Arizona Stadium on Saturday, 56-38. Scoring 35 points in the first half.
OSU Women’s Basketball
Oregon State women’s basketball host Team USA in an exhibition game this evening at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. Tip off is set for 7pm.
