Basketball Begins
The Ducks officially opened up their basketball season last night at Matthew Knight Arena against Fresno State. Payton Pritchard scored 24 points in the 71-57 win. The win secured Dana Altman’s record as the winningest head coach in Oregon basketball with win number 236. The Duck host Boise State this Saturday.
The Oregon State Beavers opened up at home as well last night against Cal State Northridge. Tres Tinkle just missed a triple double scoring 25 points with 10 rebounds and 7 assists on the night. Kylor Kelley added 18 points in the 87-67 victory. Next up for the Beavers is Iowa State on Saturday at Gill Coliseum.
