All-League Honors; Ducks Knock Off #14; Beavers Lose to Oklahoma; Women’s Basketball;

All-League Honors

The fall sports programs have announced their All-League honors.  In Cross Country First Team All League Honors go to Brendon Jensen, Sam Ulrich, Hannah Rannow, Rylee Colton and Brea Blankenship. And second team honors go to Kiger Johnson, Kyle Hughes, Jaxson Jensen, Gracie Freudenthal, Chloe Madden and Anne Wartnik.  Jared Northrop and Bryn Clement received honorable mentions.

In volley ball Second Team Honors went to senior Mia Collins and honorable mentions to Lindsey Long and Desi Tupua.

In football, First Team honors went to Camp Lacouture, Brady Libby, Henry Rankin, and Braydon Thorton.  Second Team was awarded to Elijah Blankenship and Camp Lacouture.  Honorable mention to Isaac Garza.

Ducks Knock Off #14

The Oregon Ducks took a 6 point lead into halftime against Memphis last night in Portland and eventually took the game from the 14th ranked Tigers. Juistin Shakur led the Ducks in scoring with 17 points and Payton Pritchard followed with 14.  Final score Ducks 82, Tigers 74

Beavers Lose to Oklahoma

The Oregon State Beavers were outgunned by Oklahoma in Portland last night.  Tres Tinkle led Beavers scorers with 18 in the 77-69 loss.

Women’s Basketball

The Oregon women are on the hardwood tonight with at Matthew Knight Arena taking on Utah State. Tip off between the Ducks and the Aggies, in Eugene, is at 6 o’clock.
