Ducks Get Ready
Coach Mario Cristobal says the lessons learned from the Auburn game taught the team that they belonged at that level and have used that game and every other game to prepare for Friday night’s matchup against Utah.
“That really helped really kind of launch our season in the direction that it went.”
The season itself was an important lesson according to Cristobal
“Our guys realized a lot about themselves, what we’re capable of and the more things that we are capable of accomplishing.”
Cristobal says the team will be ready for Friday’s championship game.
Prep Basketball Premieres Tomorrow
Prep Basketball returns to the hardwood tomorrow night and to the airwaves as the Siuslaw Vikings take on the Newport Cubs in non-league season opener. Tomorrow’s double header pregame on KCST is at 5:30, game one tips off at 5:30, game two from Siuslaw High School is at approximately 7 o’clock over Coast Radio Sports.
The Mapleton Sailors open their season with a non conference game against the Lowell devils. Double header action tips off in Mapleton at 5:30.
