North Bend Coast Classic
The Vikings were on the Mat over the weekend at the North Bend Coast Classic. Elijah LaCosse finished in 4th place in the 145 pound category. Mason Buss finished 5th in the 120 pound class after defeating his first three opponents by fall. Ryan Jennings placed 4th in the 152 pound category.
Prep Basketball
On Saturday the Siuslaw Vikings scored their first win at the Les Schwab Eagle Booster Club Invitational. The Vikings met the Titans of Samuel Robertson at the Junction City tournament and Braydon Thornton scored 25 in the 60-38 rout with Brody Terry and Liam McClellan adding 8. The Vikings head to Stayton on Wednesday.
The Mapleton Sailors lost to Riddle on Saturday 52-35 after beating Douglas/JV on Friday 50-20.
The Siuslaw girls had a close match on Friday barely losing to Sweet Home 60-55 and lost to South Eugene JV on Saturday 59-26.

College Hoops
The Oregon ducks defeated Michigan in overtime Saturday 71-70 and the Oregon State Beavers defeated Arkansas Pine Bluff 80 46.
The OSU women defeated Utah State 75-46 and the Duck Women defeated Long Beach State 81-45
