Sailors Improve
The Mapleton Sailors improve to 7-7 and 4-3 in league play after defeating Eddyville last night at home 48-37. The lady Sailors lost in their matchup 51-27
Double OT for the Ducks
The Oregon Ducks needed double overtime to defeat the USC Trojans last night at home. Chris Duarte scored 7 of the first 9 points in the second overtime to put the Ducks in the win column. The #12 Ducks held off the Trojans 79-70.
The Oregon State Beavers drop their third straight with a loss last night to UCLA 62-58.
The Beavers will host USC Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, at Gill Coliseum’s Miller Court. Pregame on KCFM is at 1:30. The Ducks will host UCLA on Sunday on the Tall Timbers of Matthew Knight Arena at 2 o’clock, pregame on KCST will be at 1:30.
The Lady Ducks and Beavers will trade spaces this weekend in their Civil War conflict. Game one is tonight in Eugene with game two on Sunday in Corvallis.

Originally scheduled to play out on the boards at Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, the Vikings will host the Pirates in a SkyEm League boys and girls double header in Florence. The Viking Boys are on the hardwood for game one at 5:45, pregame from Siuslaw High School on KCST is at 5:30. The girl’s game follows in the night cap at 7:15 in Florence.
