Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Viking Wrestler Matthew Horillo as this week’s athlete of the week. Horillo went undefeated this past weekend in a dual meet matchup, which included defeating the #2 ranked Christopher Woods from Hidden Valley in the 285 pound division.
Honorable mention goes to senior lady Viking Basketball player Mia Collins who led the Vikings with 13 point and 9 rebounds in the loss to Marshfield.
Basketball Tonight:
The Vikings take on the Elmira Falcons tonight at Siuslaw High School. Pregame for tonight’s boys and girls double header basketball games is at 5:30 on KCST. The boys game tips off at 5:45 and the girls tip off at 7:15
Mapleton will take on the Lakers tonight for a Mountain West League boys and girls basketball double header. Tonight’s match up from Triangle Lake will air over KCFM. Pregame is set for 5:15, the girls game tips off at 5:30, the boy’s game tips off at 7 o’clock over Coast Radio Sports.
